In 2019, with funding from Mercy Health, we started working with the community of Sayler Park (Cincinnati) to implement our Produce Prescription program and increase access to healthy food within the community. A part of this larger, multi-year effort, was a project focused on engaging the Sayler Park community towards three goals:

1) Identifying and mapping existing food assets,
2) Understanding resident shopping behaviors and preferences, and
3) Assessing the potential for increased community food production

Led by Dr. Alan Wight of The Christ College of Nursing, in partnership with the Sayler Park Village Council and individual community members, the project concluded in December 2020, and the full report, including the maps and recommendations, can be found here.
