Join the Ohio Nutrition Incentive Network's Community Advisory Group The Ohio Nutrition Incentive Network (OHNIN) is a partnership of Ohio healthy food retailers, producers, state agencies, and local partners working toward a shared vision of affordable access to healthy, local foods.

OHNIN oversees the delivery of Produce Perks at farmers markets and retailers and Produce Prescription programs across the state. OHNIN is establishing a community-engaged Advisory Group to strengthen our approach to equitable program growth.

OHNIN is looking for SNAP users, farmers’ market vendors, retail managers and cashiers at participating locations, farmers’ market staff, or farmers who:

• Have knowledge of/experience with a nutrition incentive (examples include Produce Perks at farmers market or grocer, Produce Prescription, Fruit and Vegetable Coupon, Produce Delivery Box)
• Are passionate about food access/local food/farmers markets and are interested in sharing their perspective/experience with the programs
• Represent a diversity of identity, geography, and experience with nutrition incentives We are asking for group members who can commit to:
• Attending virtual meetings every other month from August 2024 – May 2025. We expect no more than 2 hours per meeting, max 12 hours/year.
• Utilizing a device (phone, tablet or computer) to join virtual meetings
• Responding to email or text messages
• Willingness to share honest and open feedback OHNIN offers Advisory Group members:
• A gift card stipend of $75 per meeting attended
• Technical assistance to join virtual meetings
• Opportunity for your experience, perspective, and voice to impact future of food access programs in Ohio
